2021 1895 La Storia Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - Staff Comments: Amazing! The BEST Italian wine we’ve had in years. The grapes come from Abruzzi and the scent is intoxicating: Roasted cashews and blackened cherries. This is full bodied and decadent! Caramel, mocha, raspberry puree and chocolate ganache. Sinful. Pair this with Bistecca Florentine, melon with prosciutto or smoked Gouda. Was $22.99, now only $15.99.
2019 Aldea Los Marcos Bobal - This organic wine from Valencia has strong cherry and blueberry aromas with a touch of pepper. It tastes rich and dark with hints of spice cake and finishes long with notes of licorice and herbs. Aged in a large French oak barrel after malolactic fermentation, it pairs well with roasted chicken, beef, or stews. Was $17.99, now only $10.99.
2021 Arreio Red Blend – Rated 90 points Wine Enthusiast - A blend of two structured varieties, Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine does indeed have some firm tannins. It is perfumed with ripe black fruits and has vibrant acidity. Drink from 2024. Was $15.99, now only $9.99.
2019 Ca di Bruno Barbaresco - Lovely, delicate nose with hints of rose water, very light chocolate and tamarind. Medium-bodied with lightly firm, beautifully integrated tannins and a tight finish with bright spice. Made with organic grapes. Was $39.99, now only $27.99.
2018 Domaine Clavel Cotes du Rhone - Rated 90 points Robert Parker -A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Carignan, the 2018 Cotes du Rhone Villages Chusclan offers scents of garrigue-laced cherries and strawberries. Full-bodied, round and expansive, it shows no hard edges, supple tannins, a creamy texture and finishes with only the merest suggestion of warmth. It should drink well for 4-5 years. 2022 Going Forward Sauvignon Blanc - Staff Comments: From the North Coast of California and very seductive! (It’ll seduce you into having another glass) A gorgeous golden hue, this was linear in style. Apricots and tangerines on the nose; this was NOT our New Zealand powerhouse. Dry, and silky with notes of white peaches, lemon oil, basil and limestone. Serve this with guacamole, Italian beef sandwiches or grilled oysters. Was $19.99, now only $13.99.
2020 Granite Hill Cellars Chardonnay - This wine is supple with flavors of tropical fruits, like guava, apple and passionfruit that leads into vanilla beans and a creamy medium finish. Vegan Wine. Pairing: Delicious with soft cheeses, fish such as tilapia, halibut and salmon, as well as chicken and pork dishes. Vegetarian zucchini and wild mushrooms with pasta are wonderful as well.
