2018 Greetings Pinot Noir - Staff Comments: This hails from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Scents of black cherries, cocoa, and licorice hit your nose. Lightly bodied, this is the perfect Pinot Noir for those who don’t want to be weighed down. Such a nice price too! Strawberry preserves, cherry cola, brambles and a touch of birchwood round this out nicely. Have this with chicken salad sandwiches, salsa picante, or loaded bacon and cheddar cheese fries.

2018 Xanthos Cabernet Sauvignon - Staff Comments – Let this breathe for 30 minutes and it just turns to silk! Cinnamon aromas and white pepper flood your senses. This is a Cabernet to reckon with. Bold, lush, unctuous, and pure velvet. Boysenberry pie, smoked hazelnuts, English Toffee, and Dark chocolate covered cherries. Loved this! Pair this with a NY Strip steak with Bleu Cheese, grilled pork medallions, or Morbier cheese.

2018 Gait Napa Cabernet Sauvignon - Staff Comments: A sumptuous Cabernet from Napa Valley! Medium bodied with scents of black cherries and licorice. Elegant, refined, and super smooth. Notes of sarsaparilla, toasted vanilla and chocolate ganache really shine through! Just an excellent wine for the price. Serve this with a grilled NY Strip with a chimichurri sauce, eggplant and cucumber chutney, or a stilton Bleu cheese.

2018 Gearbox Chardonnay - Staff Comments: This beauty comes from Ukiah, California. It is NOT a butter bomb nor is it terribly oaky. Nicely balanced and refined, more tropical in nature. Kiwi, pineapple, guava, white peaches with a hint of hazelnuts. Dry and refreshing for Indian Summer! Serve this with chicken tetrazzini, a Cobb salad, or poached pears.

2019 Mil Piedras Malbec - Staff Comments: This hails from Mendoza, Argentina and is a steal of a price! Aromas of cocoa and blackberry jam really shine through. Medium bodied and very supple. Blueberries, tobacco, black cherry cola and all spice. Have this wine on a weekly basis! Served best with a grilled hangar steak with shallots, rock shrimp pasta or Friday night pizza.

Ocaso Rose Extra Brut - Staff Comments – 100% Sparkling Malbec from Argentina. This is a dark ruby colored sparkler – perfect for the holidays! Aromas of strawberry, cherries, and wildflowers. Fresh strawberries, Bing cherries, a hint of licorice with a dry, cranberry finish. People will love this! Refreshing and fizzy. It is a bit fruit forward, but nicely balanced with a lot of bubbles. Pair this with dates, figs, and a nice cheddar cheese spread.

This is a DOC Prosecco Rose, one of the first to hit the U.S. market and Argonaut has it! 90% Glera and 10% Pinot Nero from Italy Dry crisp, and quite refreshing.
