2017 Wakefield Promise Land Shiraz - Staff Comments: Such an easy drinking Shiraz from Australia! A little Burgundian smell on the nose; more like an aged Bordeaux with dried cherries and sage. After 20 minutes that turns to velvet, macerated cherries take over with white pepper, rhubarb; a medium bodied wine that displays golden cherries and raspberries. Loved this! Serve this with a slight chill on it along with an apple-honey smoked salmon, 6.99.
